Once annually, Professors Laura Dull and Amy French lead a travel class to uncover the history of a city. In 2014 and 2015, we traveled to Chicago where we explored the city through the lens of the 1893 World’s Fair. For 2016, we will be traversing Boston and Salem to look at how Enlightenment theory took us from witch-calling to revolution. If you’re interested in joining the class, email firstname.lastname@example.org. You do not need to be physically present in the state of Michigan to take the class. All assignments are done online, except for the trip itself, which means that you will need to meet us in Boston. Stay tuned for updates!
