During the Progressive Era America saw a lot of reforms that help boost the middle class. This era (lasting from 1895-1915) focused on political reform and social activism.

Women during the Progressive Era made a huge strides for the right for women to vote. Aside from that, women also made huge improvements towards public health and child labor laws. A popular court case during this era was the Muller v. Oregon where there was a limit put on the amount of hours a women was allowed to work during the day.

Progressives worked really hard to try to provide equality and fairness throughout the nation to protect all people.
