Brown Bag talk with poet and Native American Language expert Margaret Noodin


Poet and Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) language expert Margaret Noodin will be virtually visiting Delta by Zoom next week for a Brown Bag talk hosted by the Humanities Learning Center in collaboration with the Karen MacArthur Endowed Teaching Chair.

Margaret Noodin writes her poetry in both Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe language) and English. Her most recent published collection is What the Chickadee Knows (Wayne State University Press).  She will read her poetry and talk about her work with Ojibwe.net, a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the Ojibwe language.

Dr Noodin will be joining us via Zoom from Wisconsin, where she is a professor at UW-Milwaukee.
